It's the customary "Ditch Day" at Horace Handyblender High. This year, however, the students have been warned that following this immortal practice could mean trouble. Miss Claypool, the principal (fondly known as "The Terror"), has pledged to find any disobedient students and make them pay for their day of independence. This doesn't hamper Cliff, Adeline and their friends, however, from planning a wild treasure hunt. Unfortunately, the bunch ends up with more than they bargained for when a stolen diamond necklace, hidden by a trio of jewelry thieves, is placed in Adeline's bag. So, not only is "The Terror" in hot pursuit of the kids, but a gang of thugs is now watching their every move. The chase and wild fun is on... through the art museum, a shopping mall and on to the beach. Add a bountiful cast of goofy characters and a zesty toe-tapping score and you've got the hit of the year!
